Westbound + Wandering

We’re hitting the road in my in-laws elegant Roadtrek for a three-week westward adventure. First, we’ll drive straight to Whistler for mountain biking with friends, fueled by dehydrated meals, sunsets, and audiobooks. After, we’ll explore bucket-list spots like Vancouver Island, Tofino and 'Rev'. Expect photos, raw van-life videos, and honest stories about traveling light and living luxuriously on the road with my husband. Follow along!

From sunrise coffee at The Break to wandering the Ancient Cedars Trail, our Sunshine Coast journey was pure magic. We spotted humpback whales from the ferry, explored Powell River’s concrete ships, and soaked in coastal views that felt like Southern California with alpine peaks. The day ended in Squamish with an unforgettable meal at The Broken Seal , reminding us why van life on Canada’s West Coast is so special.
